Welcome to the web page of the Island Baptist Church. The Island Baptist Church is a mission church of the Calvary Baptist Church of Sanford, Maine. It is our desire to see this church planted on the island of Islesboro for the Glory of God.
The Island Baptist Church is an independant, fundamental Baptist Church that still believes a church can be built the old-fashioned way -- the old-fashioned way of preaching the Bible, singing the old hymns, and loving people. The Island Baptist Church is in existence for the sole purpose of seeing men, women, boys, and girls come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Luke 19:10 "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." The services have been a great blessing.Our God is doing a wonderful work for which we are grateful. Please be much in prayer for us as we continue to preach the gospel of Christ to this island.
