Welcome to the web page of the Up Island Baptist Church. The Up Island Baptist Church is a mission church of the Calvary Baptist Church of Sanford, Maine. It is our desire as a church to see this once closed church reopened for the Glory of God. The Up Island Baptist Church is an independant, fundamental Baptist Church that still believes a church can be built the old-fashioned way -- the old-fashioned way of preaching the Bible, singing the old hymns, and loving people. The Up Island Baptist Church is in existence for the sole purpose of seeing men, women, boys, and girls come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The last two weeks of services have been a great blessing.Our God is doing a wonderful work for which we are grateful. Please be much in prayer for us as we continue to preach the gospel of Christ to this island. Regular services are each Friday evening at 5 pm for dinner and worship at 6 pm.
